If you already have Ventrilo installed, it is highly recommended that you enable volume normalization by following the steps below. This will compensate for users with quiet or loud microphones and force them to a normalized volume level.

- Go to Setup

- Enable Direct Sound

- Select the SFX Button

- Select Compressor and click Add.

- Under Compressor Properties use the following settings

- Gain = Adjust for how loud you want people to be. (I use 15)

- Attack = 0.01

- Release = Around 500

- Threshold = Around -30

- Ratio = 100

- Pre delay = 4.0

The following is a quick guide to get you connected to the server:

Click on the arrow next to "User Name."

From here, you're going to want to create your user name. Click on the "New" button.

Enter your user name (no eG, eGO tags please!) and press "OK" to enter.

After entering your name, press "OK." once more to exit the "Setup User" window.

Back at the main window, click on the arrow next to "Server."

Click on the "New" button.

Enter "EdgeGamers Organization" as the server name and press "OK" to enter.

Enter the required information and press "OK" when done. Note: Server details can be copied below.
Host: voice.edge-gamers.com
Port: 29272
Password will be listed at the top of this page (if one is currently set).

Back on the main page press "Connect" or "OK" to connect to our server.
